Although we have never visited the zoo, my wife and I have spent time in Eureka and the surrounding area…we love it and only wish we could call it home.
The zoo in Eureka is okay, but the city and the surrounding area is super. You get some fog in the early part of the year but you also have access to outdoor areas, northern California and Southern, Oregon.
